KTM Medico offers four progressive training levels: Level I CTEVT Caregiver Training, Level II Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Level III Advanced Aged & Elderly Care, and Level IV Advanced Caregiver: Complex and Professional Care.

2. How long is the Level I CTEVT Caregiver Training?
The Level I CTEVT Caregiver Training program is 390 hours and provides a foundation in essential caregiving knowledge and practical skills.

3. What does Level I cover?
Level I covers environment, health and sanitation, nutrition, emergency and first aid, hygienic care, maternal care, communication and counselling, note making, record keeping and reporting.

4. How long is the CNA course?
The Level II Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program is 320 hours.

5. What does the CNA course include?
The CNA course includes communication and interpersonal skills, basic anatomy and physiology, infection control, personal care and activities of daily living, nutrition and hydration, vital signs, first aid, legal and ethical responsibilities, documentation, practical skills training and clinical or field exposure.

6. How long is Level III?
Level III — Advanced Aged & Elderly Care is a 400-hour training program.

7. How much theory is included in Level III?
Level III includes 140 hours of theory tutorials, along with practical training within the overall 400-hour program.

8. What does Level III focus on?
Level III focuses on advanced aged and elderly care, gerontology, geriatric health conditions, dementia care, mental health, disability support, chronic disease, person-centred care, palliative care and professional communication.

9. How long is Level IV?
Level IV — Advanced Caregiver: Complex and Professional Care has a total duration of 600 hours.

10. What does Level IV focus on?
Level IV focuses on complex care management, case coordination, leadership, complex behaviour support, neurological and high-support care, disability support, rehabilitation, palliative care, technology-assisted care, risk management, safeguarding, professional accountability, quality improvement and advanced professional practice.

11. Does Level IV include OJT?
Yes. Level IV includes 120 hours of Supervised OJT / Professional Practice, allowing learners to apply advanced caregiving knowledge in a supervised practical setting.

12. Which course should a beginner consider?
Level I CTEVT Caregiver Training is the foundation stage in KTM Medico’s training pathway and is suitable for learners beginning their caregiver education. Admission requirements should be confirmed before enrollment.

13. Can I move from one level to the next?
Yes. KTM Medico follows a progressive four-level training pathway. Learners may progress to higher training levels depending on the relevant eligibility and admission requirements.

14. Does KTM Medico provide practical training?
